My 2014 Favorite Beauty Bits

Man, 2014 flew by didn't it! There have been some great new additions to my rotation this year and some old favorites that continue to stand the test of time. Here is a round up of my favorite products from the year.

MAC pigment in melon- I am obsessed with this pigment and will be doing a separate post about it soon. It's a beautiful peachy-gold color and I have been incorporating it with everything from a holiday dinner to a simple, every day, running out the door for work look.

Urban Decay Perversion Mascara + Subversion Primer-I picked this up in a pack containing the full size mascara and a small tube of the primer. The mascara is great on its own but adding the primer just gives it an extra boost. It gives me full, long lashes without clumps and coats every individual lash better than a lot of mascaras I have found. I'm about to pick up another tube of this baby today!

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Intense- This is one of my favorite scents on the planet. I usually shy away from sweeter scents but this takes sweet to a deeper, intense, sexy level with notes of Neroli, Orange Blossom, Jasmine, Tuberose, and Sandalwood.

Stila Convertible Color- I have this in the color Camellia and its a perfect choice for a natural pop of pinky, brozed color to the cheeks. I have even used it on friends who aren't fans of makeup but just needed a little something to bring some life to their face.

Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer- all I can say is you need to get your butt to a sephora and try this for yourself. If you are like me you will NEVER look back.

Anastasia Brow Wiz- a tiny, twist up pencil for perfect control in shaping and filling in brows. Whether you are going for a bold look or something more natural this product does the job with a long lasting formula that wont smudge during the day. Comes complete with a grooming brush at the tip so its a perfect all in one.

Two powder blushes are going to make the list one for the warmer months and one for fall/winter- Benefit's Coralista and MAC blush in Fever.

Living Proof Perfect Hair Day 5-in-1 Styling Treatment has become my number one styling product. Even with my damaged, over colored hair that I am desperately trying to repair it does the trick.

Stila Stay All Day Waterproof Liquid Eyeliner Pen-I did a full review on this earlier this year and it is still my favorite in the eyeliner department. I've tried a few others this year and I keep coming back to this one.

NARS Sheer Glow Foundation- I'm someone who hates when foundation looks like foundation. Weird, I know. My skin is pretty well behaved so this does the trick and has been my go-to for most of the year.

BECCA lowlight sculpting perfector- I have a hard time finding contour products that aren't too dark on my fair skin and that actually look natural on my skin tone. This cream formula does the trick and blends wonderfully.

MAC lipstick in Diva- I've been wearing this loads on its own or lightly dabbed over the Whirl lip pencil. This ox-blood red is gorgeous and long lasting and I've been obsessed.

St Tropez Self Tan Express- I can get my gorgeous, natural looking St Tropez tan in 3 hours or less depending on how dark I want it. I've been using it religiously since its release.

What are your favorite products of the year? Anything you are interested in trying soon?
