Elizabeth Arden Untold Review

The latest in my perfume collection is the latest from Elizabeth Arden. Untold ($49-$79) is described as a "sensual floral" meant to encompass the "modern woman" with "Black Currant, Bergamot, Pink Pepper, Pear,Gardenia, Peony, Jasmine,Sandalwood, Patchouli Heart, Musk, Amber." It has become my go-to scent since I purchased this in early December. It is floral and feminine but not too overbearing (I'm not a big fan of overly floral scents) with a sensual, mysterious twist. I think you really get the best of both worlds and it works both day and night, running about the office or to meetings and for a night out.

I love the packaging, I think the bottle is beautiful down to the shape and the metal lining. The metal lining is a bit harsh on the hand when spraying though and it does seem to move a bit on the glass of the bottle. The box is white and gold with a diamond pattern that reflects light beautifully. On the inside flap the first thing you see is a quote by Elizabeth Arden.

There have been some mixed reviews floating around about the scent but it has become a personal favorite of mine, and the compliments I get on it every time I wear it further confirm my love. I don't think it comes in a roller but I haven't had much of an issue with needing to touch up throughout the day unless I plan on putting it on first thing in the morning and staying out until the wee hours the next morning. I have put some into an atomizer to stash in my purse to touch up in time for a late dinner. This has become a staple in my collection and will be one that I am quick to purchase once it is used up!

Did I mention the commercial is perfect? I love it. Here it is if you haven't seen it
